Abstract
The purpose of this report is to analyze the effects of Engineering Psychology on Job Design. Specifically relating to increasing Occupational Safety. The report uses several different citation and data analysis tools to complete the study. Google Ngram was used in the preliminary data collection phase to predict the trends in topics. MAXQDA, VOSviewer, BibExcel, and Citespace were also utilized in the generation of analyzing the citations and their data. Three articles were analyzed where the safety of the operator was the focus, and the goal was to measure cognitive workload. Most concluded that eye tracking can be used to assess the impact of mental workload on job design, and the findings can help engineers design and implement better working conditions.
