Abstract

Digital technologies, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, 3D Printing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Blockchain, rapidly transform industries. IoT, in particular, has revolutionised the world and impacted our daily lives. Despite this, there is still a gap in the literature regarding a comprehensive explanation of the drivers and barriers to IoT adoption in supply chains, specifically from the perspective of Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM). Moreover, the literature surrounding SRM and IoT adoption is relatively scarce and scattered. Thus, to address this gap and support future research, we conducted a systematic review of the literature, which will be presented in this paper. The review intends to create a body of understanding to extend the research by linking it to supplier relationship management theories.
