Abstract

Gamification design is an important and engaging design method in experience design, currently widely explored and discussed in various fields. This paper adopts gamification design as a method, focusing on the “task, measurement, metric” cycle, to redesign and iteratively design the basic mobile application “Behavioral Lock Screen Application.’’ The study validates the positive impact of gamification design on user retention and usage rates in fundamental applications.
