Abstract

Miao embroidery is not only a handcraft handed down from generation to generation by Miao women, but also an important carrier of Miao culture, known as “the history book worn on the body”. In the current digital era, the effective integration of Guizhou Miao embroidery skills and teaching courses in universities is conducive to deepening the intrinsic value of digital product design courses. The establishment of the database is used to enhance the multi-faceted understanding and interpretation of Guizhou Miao embroidery culture, cultivate students to review and refine Miao embroidery elements from the perspective of design, and transform the national cultural factors contained in them into design materials. The database is applied in enterprises. Through the establishment of a large Miao embroidery craftsman database on the platform, design requirements are released online. According to the information shown in the database, orders can be distributed to craftsmen in a timely and accurate manner, further improving production efficiency and production capacity. The digital platform makes Miao embroidery products more easily accessible to global consumers, which helps to expand the market and increase sales channels.
