Abstract

In the digital age, the significance of HCI design education is escalating, playing a pivotal role in nurturing creative talent and revolutionizing the dissemination of design concepts. This paper delves into the market-driven HCI design education through case studies. We scrutinize the strengths and weaknesses encountered in HCI design education and underscore the varied global demands, accounting for social cultures and technological progressions. Our research advocates for a holistic approach amalgamating studio-based education, artistic and technological fusion, and socio-cultural values to meet the digital market’s multifaceted requirements effectively. Research avenues entail addressing cultural diversity, enhancing multidisciplinary collaboration, and staying abreast of technological advancements and societal shifts.
