Abstract
In the digital information age, it is crucial to use digital media technology to expand the forms of campus culture construction. This study proposes a digital media visualization method for campus cultural construction, using images posted by campus teachers and students on social media platforms as raw data. The data is processed through dimensionality reduction and clustering analysis and then visualized using generative artificial intelligence and visual programming software to produce digital images. Campus teachers and students can control the color, shape, and other information generated by digital images by adjusting the generation parameters. At the same time, as campus teachers and students add more original images, the generated digital images will also change accordingly. This method transforms concrete media memory into abstract data visualization through visual co-construction and dynamically influences visual form through people’s behavior in the media. The method proposed by this research institute provides a participatory way for campus teachers and students to create visual digital images of the campus, which is a new way to experience campus culture and also an interactive installation of art of the campus.
