Abstract
Along with the increasing development of digital society, smart travel has become a new direction for the development of public transportation systems. At the same time, the aging degree continues to deepen, and the elderly’s own perceptual limitations are becoming more and more serious, resulting in multiple barriers to bus travel for the elderly. In this paper, from the perspective of interaction behavior, Censydiam user motivation analysis model is used to sort out the inner relationship of “demand-motivation-behavior-station” of elderly users. It proposes the key points of aging-friendly design of urban bus stops based on interaction behavior, and conducts visual experiments with eye-tracking devices to explore the influence of different interface layouts on users’ task completion efficiency and preferences, and verifies the interactive relationship between the interaction behavior of the elderly and their travel decisions. The experimental results show that in the layout design, the top layout is more user-friendly and easy to operate compared with the side and mixed; in the verification of the relationship between interaction behavior and travel decision-making, there is an interaction relationship between the interaction behavior of elderly subjects and travel decision-making and the degree of the relationship is greater than that of young subjects. Based on this, this study applies the interaction behavior to the aging design of urban bus stops to enhance the willingness of elderly users to travel actively, and to promote the active integration of the elderly into the digital society and enjoy the convenience from it.
