Abstract

Service-orientation should not refer to an architecture, but to a mindset. At least this is how Tiziana views the term, as a very generic approach to modularization tailored to support what she calls user-centric modelling. Tiziana has been ‘living’ service orientation for three decades now. She applied it in industrial projects, in teaching, and in research, e.g., to establish a well-founded style of low code/no code system development. This paper sketches her corresponding contributions, as well as the content of this Festschrift.
