Abstract
Examination of possibility of applying results of eye-tracking of visual stimuli in diagnosis and therapy of neuropsychological disorders requires developing the methodology of analysis of data obtained in this process. One of the important elements of this methodology is the stage of separating the process of syntactic analysis (bottom-up) from the process of semantic analysis (top-down) of visual stimuli. In order to separate these processes, it is necessary to develop an objective method for segmentation of visual stimuli, enabling us to select areas of interest in both processes. In the paper, we present results of research aimed at developing the segmentation method of visual stimuli in the area of processes of syntactic analysis.
