Abstract
Healthcare information technology (health IT) is a critical factor of healthcare system worldwide. The aim of this paper is to propose an integrated performance measurement system to evaluate access to healthcare and healthcare cost reduction is proposed. This paper presents the use of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to prioritize all of the measures and strategies in a Balanced Scorecard framework (BSC). Results show that the methodological approach is very flexible and useful in several scenarios.
