Abstract

Based on the Chinese patent text, this paper thoroughly counts and analyzes part of speech and dependency relation distribution of coordination structures in the dependency treebank (wherein, the original corpus belongs to patent text.) from the perspective of morphology and internal and external linguistic features, and the dependency relations were compared in accordance with symmetry and asymmetry. For external linguistic features, we also investigate the modification relation of coordination structure. These investigations not only provide accurate analytical data for research on the structure, but also provide full knowledge of dependency parsing for difficulty in identifying the coordination structures in patent text.
