Abstract

Significant parts of the web exist of documents that are automatically generated, or an aggregation of content from different sources. These practises rely on three major tasks: Management, Syndication and Aggregation of web content. For these a heterogeneous set of imperative tools, scripts and systems is available, which are either not compatible or only along very thin lines, e.g. using RSS. In this document, we will propose a novel architecture for dealing with management, syndication and aggregation of web content based on web standards, in particular RDF and Linked Data principles. A declarative, compatible and more efficient way of performing these tasks that effectively merges them, while narrowing the gap between the web of documents and the web of data.
