Abstract
Nowadays, the decision-making within the companies is more challenging due to the complex processes that develop around a successful entity, generating issues in linking information and getting the optimal decision. The growing volume of data and its heterogeneous form causes difficulties in visualizing it and in providing an accurate and clean view of the situations that need analysis. This is where the decision support technologies come to help the human decide on the solutions, with their capacity of loading, linking and displaying the information in a relevant and professional manner. The purpose of this article is to highlight the role and the relevance of using decision support technologies in improving decisional processes.
