Abstract

The Province of Potenza engaged several international cooperation actions concerning local planning tools, sustainability, risk assessment and management, territorial resilience and renewable energy sources. Such effort contributed to the integrated strategy of boosting sustainable development at territorial scale by an action of coordinating municipalities in a common framework. This work describes the Local Implementation Plan developed in the framework of Renergy Project concerning the local implementation of best practices assessed through the cooperation activities developed in the INTERREG IV C project. The Province of Potenza leaded the partnership and stimulated a territorial strategy based on local issues and facing the Covenant of Majors and EU 2020 targets
