Abstract

One of the organisations in charge of developing and delivering legal services in the Netherlands is the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration (DTCA). Next to Tax and Customs, DTCA is also responsible for benefits (like housing allowance, health care insurance allowance, childcare allowance). The benefits services of DTCA were one the first services which were based on a fact based approach. This paper shows how the benefits services of DTCA are designed, tells about the current challenges and future plans.
