Abstract

Art.CHI is the name for the movement that grew out of the Curating the Digital workshop. Art.CHI aims to bring together the tools, techniques, methods and approaches of both Human Computer Interaction and Digital Art making. In this chapter we consider the history of digital art from a Human Computer Interaction perspective and give an overview of how the chapters in this volume contribute to developments in multidisciplinary collaboration. Finally we consider where this movement might go in a Post-digital area, where digital technology is ever present but mundane.
