Abstract
Health is one of the most vibrant areas where Information Systems have been making a revolution in the way services are improving peoples quality of life. However, the optimization of provided health care services is not reaching medical emergency services in Angola, where there still is an incipient use of Information Systems applied to public health care services. We propose a web-based information system in which the core activities are implemented using a multi-agent system. Our goal is to guide the access to emergency care providing a feature of triage and referral of users based on significant personal information, stablished pre-diagnosis and considering available hospital services.
