Abstract
This paper proposes a location monitoring application for elderly care reminding them to do things they do not wish to forget related to their locations. The paper also introduces the importance of the user interface and emphasizes the difficulties in the interface design for various generations. In the first section, this paper shows the importance of smartphone application design for elderly care, and presents the various types of disease where the proposed application can be used. The second section introduces the difference between regular application design and application design for elderly people in smartphone applications. In the following sections, we are going to propose the application in detail, representing a suitable interface design for the elderly users. The introduced application can be applied into robot partners, to extend the ability of caregiving The experiment part discusses the result of program and we will discuss the outcome of interface research among elderly users, using the above introduced interface units and the functions of the application.
