Abstract

In field studies, the observation is often used. However, it requires huge burden to observers. In order to solve the problem, we have proposed “Behavior observation robot” which can be a substitute for human observer. The robot should avoid receiving much attention from the target subjects. However, previously developed robot could not follow the object when the robot lost the target object at once, and generated loud noise from the movement mechanism. In this study, we propose a new “Behavior observation robot” and describe its functions.
