Abstract

With the continually reducing of research and development time and cost, large-scale complex products design and development depends on powerful and flexible tools to validate, verify and test its results. A flexible and scalable simulation framework is needed to support research, design, test, function extension and new technology implementation, especially for the product definition, system definition and equipment definition stages in complex product development projects. To address these requirements, the service oriented simulation framework is developed. Some enabling technologies including simulation unit service, simulation orchestration, simulation process monitoring and control are developed. The prototype implementation of the simulation system and the simulation results of an AFMS/Autoflight system are given. Both the effectiveness and flexibility of the technology developed in the paper are confirmed.
