Abstract
With the introduction of Electronic Schoolbag (E-bag) into education, teachers’ information technology teaching ability (TITTA) to use E-bag has been influenced obviously. In this study, a questionnaire was developed for figuring out the current situation of teachers’ ITTA to apply E-bag and the potential influence factors, then a survey was carried out in some sampled schools in Pearl River Delta. It turned out that teachers were confronted with some challenges, such as resources and tools development, various teaching activities based on E-bag, though operations and functions of E-bag had been grasped early. In addition, the foundation of teaching reforming in school and the duration of E-bag application were the most obvious influence factors for instructional design based on E-bag. Teachers should participate in all kinds of teaching reforming activities to use E-bag more effectively.
