Abstract

With the deepening of the concept of Internet of things and the development of science and technology, smart home has developed by leaps and bounds. Intelligent wireless outlet is an essential part of smart home. In this paper, a wireless outlet system is designed based on Wifi technology and Android platform, using SCM and ESP8266 module to build the hardware system. The cloud server is adopted to transmit data between host computer and slave computer, while the smart phone based on Android can collect the data and control the outlet nodes through the Wifi communication mode so as to realize the monitoring of the home appliance. The system is implemented successfully and can reform the traditional home without complicated wiring. Stable and reliable as tested, the system has great practical value.
