Abstract
While Project-based learning applications have been extensively investigated, the machinery manufacturing for technology universities students is unexplored. First, this study collects the status of machinery manufacturing, the scope of technical knowledge of machinery manufacturing and the relevant literature on Project-based learning performance. Project-based learning has used in the generation of novel ideas for student. In addition, this study involves a quantitative and qualitative content analysis of relevant documents, textbooks and teaching objectives of machinery manufacturing performance, which includes Objectives knowledge, Type of Problems and Projects, Progression, Size and Duration, in 7 hierarchies and 25 indexes. Second, this study assesses these criteria by employing the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) technique to solicit opinions from 10 experts by using questionnaires. Results show that Type of Problems and Projects, Students’ Learning, Objectives knowledge, Progression, Size and Duration, Academic Staff and Facilitation, Assessment and Evaluation (0.090), Space and Organization, have weights of 0.215, 0.190, 0.185, 0.131, 0.101, 0.090, 0.088 respectively.
