Abstract
This paper studies a problem for planning a set of projects integrated with a closed-loop supply chain. It aims at presenting a web-based application that is developed to support the solving procedure of the problem while going through some user-friendly interfaces. The mathematical model of the study considers scheduling for projects’ renewable and non-renewable resources. The renewable resources are available in an initial quantity. Nevertheless, their availability may increase by renting additional limited amounts. Considering due-dates that are given to the projects’ activities, the model attempts to define equilibrium between the costs for adding the resources and penalty costs originated from activities late completion. In order to plan the procurement of the non-renewable resources and also management of wastes produced at the worksites, planning of a closed-loop supply chain is integrated into scheduling of the projects. The model is applied on a case from a French project called CRIBA.
