Abstract
In this paper the contribution of the C2-SENSE project to improvement of seamless and secure interoperability between currently used radio systems for flood warning systems was presented. The main challenge of the project was to exploit the existing publicly available communication network infrastructure with the possibility to add more sophisticated tools. In this paper we present the physical software profiles development that could be universal for many communication devices for sensors data acquisition. Presented physical profiles contain all crucial data about interface/protocol configuration, data workflow and data source description. Furthermore we demonstrated how to connect Physical Interoperability layer with other C2-SENSE components, in order to create whole Interoperability Framework.
