Abstract

A computational model of cyber situational awareness is built using the Cyber-FIT agent-based modeling and simulation framework. This work expands the framework by adding a computational cognitive model of the agents’ perception of cyber situational awareness. Virtual experiments are conducted to test the model, and determine how long it may take for a military cyber team to gain cyber situational awareness.
