Abstract

The author collects thoughts and findings of Carl Adam Petri on the concept of synchronic distance in Petri nets. The sources include early papers of Petri, papers reporting on discussions between the author and Petri, and the author’s own recollection of fascinating discussions between Petri and members of his research group.
