Abstract
A new digital watermarking scheme is presented which uses the redundant wavelet transform (RDWT) for watermark embedding. Similar to other known watermarking methods in frequency domain, we embed the watermark in wavelet domain, but we use an RDWT, by which a larger logo watermark can be embedded by transforming coefficients. We also propose a new intelligent ICA based detector to extract the watermark. The experiment shows that proposed scheme produces less image distortion than conventional DWT and it is robust against high quality lossy image compression and other attacks.
