Abstract
Repository systems handle the management of metadata and meta-models. They act as data store with a distinguishing characteristic – it provides a custom-defined and adaptable system catalogue. Preserving the consistency of the repository data is a major challenge. In this paper we propose a novel algorithm for enforcing structural consistency in MOF-based repositories, which is implemented in iRM/RMS – a prototypical OMG MOF-based repository system.
