Abstract
The term “distributed knowledge spaces” came more and more into the focus of today’s computer science as worldwide communication and cooperative work increase their influence. Our research group has developed a framework called Swifff, which supports essential basics for distributed working and knowledge management. This paper presents the innovative concept of distributed shared views of the Swifff-GUI-framework. The framework is designed to combine different kinds of data displayed in separate views within one interface. We will describe its open architecture and its ability to add new views at any time. Therefore the main goal of our approach is the extensibility of our interface concept. We conclude with a short outlook on our future work.
