Abstract

Although there are several tools for monitoring parallel applications running on clusters and supercomputers they cannot be used in the grid without modifications. GRM, a message-passing parallel application monitoring tool for clusters, is connected to the infrastructure of R-GMA, the information and monitoring system of the EU-DataGrid project in order to collect trace information about message-passing parallel applications executed in the grid. In this paper, their connection is described.
