Abstract

In this paper, we propose an architecture of name service system which can provide mobile nodes in IPv6 mobile ad-hoc network with the name-to-address resolution and service discovery. Because mobile ad-hoc network has dynamic topology, the current DNS is not appropriate to name service in mobile ad-hoc network. We suggest the design and implementation of name service system suitable for the mobile ad-hoc network, autoconfiguration technology related to name service, and service discovery based on the name service system.
