Abstract

Tableau is a software environment for processing images from teaching-boards acquired using portable digital cameras and cell-phones. This paper presents two new algorithms to improve the performance of Tableau. The first one enhances border detection while the second algorithm targets at image enhancement. Tableau has its performance compared to similar commercial softwares.
