Abstract
The article presents an application of a two-dimensional elastic neuron network for the generation of the surfaces of abrasive grains with macro-geometric parameters set. In the neuron model developed, the output parameters are the number of the grain vertices, the apex angle and the vertex radius. As a result of the work of the system, a random model of a grain with set parameters is obtained. The neuron model developed is used as a generator of the surface of the model of abrasive grains in the system of modeling and simulation of grinding processes.
