Abstract

In the paper a pattern recognition algorithm in knowledge-based adaptive control system has been discussed. Presented approach based on classifiers, as it is shown, is a useful tool to control non-linear plant with uncertainties. In many cases it is not possible to propose control law. Instead of it expert’s knowledge may be used. The pattern recognition method which is utilized by controller to make a decision allows to manage the stored knowledge effectively. Moreover, the system based on presented methodology works faster which is desirable in Real Time System. The biomedical application has been discussed.
