Abstract

Human activities in various domains include interactions. In some areas, like healthcare, there is an opportunity to collect rich data about such interactions. The utilisation of such data in order to extract information about the dynamics of unfolding of interactions and visualising such information on mobile devices is the focus of this paper. The paper presents a methodology for designing visual representations about interactions for mobile devices. The shape and behaviour of the elements of such visualisations utilise elements of human movement. The paper presents an instance of such visualisation on mobile devices and its utilisation on case studies of interactions in healthcare.
