Abstract

The methods of FM synthesis and sampling intervals synthesis can only focus on one of the two indexes which named Timbre and design-flexibility in the design of digital-synthesis. Therefore, it based on the theory of digital music, and to combining the advantages of both methods to try a new design method of digital-synthesis; and to realize the design by time-domain waveform envelope processing and frequency-domain modulation with the tool MATLAB. By the experimental analysis, Synthesis can sound not only better performance, but also have a certain flexibility in design and application; as small requirement in the size of Wavetable, also providing a reference to the designing of digital synthesizer for portable and small equipment.
