Abstract

The existing principles of business automation and corporate information systems (CIS) development insufficiently enable the integration of CIS informational subsystems, thus hampering the cooperation of specialists from different departments as well as the acquisition of reliable and complete information. This problem so far lies beyond the range of standard technological solutions. So, to effectively use the available information and to provide for making the justified managerial decisions, it is necessary to develop a scientifically sound methodology that would allow for information interaction between the system’s heterogeneous components using, therefore, general theoretical approaches to information processing. This paper proposes a solution based on the advanced and best elaborated methodology of data harmonization, integration, and fusion.
