Abstract
At present the precise harmonics detection of the power system has great significance for the security of the power system. In this paper, the application of the wavelet package transform in the detection of the signals is briefly introduced. A method of harmonics dectection in power systems based on wavelet package transform is presented. It well make use of the advantages of a wavelet package transform in harmonics analysis in power systems, and then overcomes the shortage of signals analysis by using wavelet transform and traditional Fourier calculation. At last, the analysis of simulation and error validates this method.
