Abstract

The “standard” soft set deals with a binary-valued information system. For a multi-valued information system S = (U,A,V,f), where V = ∪  a ∈ A V a ,V a is the domain (value set) of attribute a which has multi value (|V a | ≥ 3), a decomposition can be made from S into |A | number of binary-valued information systems S = (U,A,V {0,1},f). In this paper, we present the notion of multi-soft set representing S based on such decomposition. The AND and OR operations in multi-soft sets also presented.
