Abstract
The goal of this document is the exposition of a conceptual model developed and implemented like knowledge based expert system for a PID control of industrial process, when a system operates under hazardous conditions. Thanks to features of PID regulators and the expert system implemented, it is possible to stabilize a dangerous industrial process quickly if the adequate parameters of the PID regulator are calculated in a reasonable time. In this way the system can work without danger, when the communication with the plant has been lost without requiring the intervention of a human operator.
