Part of the book series: Studies in Computational Intelligence ((SCI,volume 270))

Abstract

The harmony search algorithm has been so far applied to various optimization problems. Also, the algorithm structure has been customized on a case-by-case basis by tweaking the basic structure. The objective of this chapter is to introduce the state-of-the-art structure of the basic harmony search algorithm.
