Abstract

Microgrid is a small power system which integrates multiple distributed generators and local loads; it takes advantage of much clean energy like wind and solar, and it is also an effective way to solve the grid connection problem brought by the large number of DG. This paper introduces the concept of microgrid and the characteristic of various power sources in detail, and the key technology and its solution in microgrid is discussed at great length, especially the control technology and protection method. The prospects of microgrid are also investigated based on the above.
