Abstract

In this paper, passive analysis and control are discussed for descriptor systems. By means of linear matrix inequality (LMI), the conditions for the system to be admissible and passive with dissipation η are proposed in the cases of state feedback control and observer-based feedback control. To obtain the maximum dissipation, the design procedures are given respectively. Simulation examples are given to show the validity and applicability of the proposed methods.
