Abstract

The information search methods based on ontology can enhance the precision of information search and achieve more requiring information of users, however, they only concentrate on the relationship between users and information and are not supported by enough data about the users’ operation on the information. In this paper, information search model based on ontology and context aware technologies is proposed in which the context-aware technology is cited to achieve the information requirement of users from their operations on the information. When the ontology about users and the corresponding information are analyzing, the achieved information requirement are utilized. Consequently, the relationship among users, information, attributes of users and attributes of information are acquired by the operation of users on the information.
