Abstract

According to disadvantages of low convergence rate, big steady-state and poor ability to track time-varying channel of traditional constant modulus blind equalization algorithm(CMA), the variable momentum factor decision feedback blind equalization algorithm based on the constant parameter error function(VMCDFECMA) is proposed by introducing the variable momentum factor into the momentum decision feedback blind equalization algorithm based on the constant parameter error function(MDFECMA). The proposed VMCDFECMA can improve convergence rate and tracking per-formance, and reduce steady-state error via making full use of the features of the decision feedback equalizer, the momentum term,and the error functions. The performance of the proposed VMCDFECMA algorithm is simulated with underwater acoustic channels.
