Abstract
Electrical capacitance tomography (ECT) is one of process tomography technique which developed rapidly in recent years. There are three types of widely used ECT sensor: the sensor without radial guards, the sensor with thin radial guards and the sensor with radial guards. The sensor with thin radial guards is different from the other two. A calibration model for the sensor with thin radial guards was discussed in this paper. The simulation experiments were carried out to evaluate the method. The results show that the method can produce good results.
