Abstract
Through the design and realization of the virtual reality for web-based Dalian Ancient Museum, this thesis provides the design model as well as key technology, which contributes in the construction of on-line virtual museum. On account of Open GL tech, Ajax tech and the virtual reality system with actual Application value, it demonstrated the feasibility of applying multi-virtual reality tech in digitalized museum and also the effectiveness for society in constructing digital museum. Furthermore, it not only renders a deeper perspective for virtual reality research and application, but also reference for practicality.
