Abstract

This paper describes an ESA (Error Sharing Agent running on Situation-Aware Ubiquitous Computing Environment). It is a multi-agent based fault-tolerance system running on Situation-Aware Ubiquitous Computing with function for an error detection, classification and recovery automatically. It consists of EDA, ECA, and ERA. EDA has a function of error detection running on Situation-Aware Ubiquitous Computing. That is, EDA becomes aware of an error occurrence and transmitted quickly through an error sharing method running on Situation-Aware Ubiquitous Computing. ECA has a function of error classification running on Situation-Aware Ubiquitous Computing. ERA has a function of error recovery running on Situation-Aware Ubiquitous Computing. In this paper, we discuss a method for increasing reliability through an error sharing system running on Situation-Aware Ubiquitous Computing.
