Semantics in Data and Knowledge Bases (SDKB 2010)

Part of the book series: Lecture Notes in Computer Science ((LNISA,volume 6834))

Included in the following conference series:

Abstract

This introductory article presents the workshop organisers’ view on semantics, the intentions of the SDKB workshop series, and a brief account on what has been achieved in the field. Previous SDKB volumes survey different approaches to semantics in database research and discuss research on database semantics. Most of these research questions are still open.
